Biography

In 2006, she graduated from the A.K. Glazunov Petrozavodsk State Conservatory and completed her postgraduate studies in 2011. From 2006 to 2012, she was a soloist at the Music Theatre of the Republic of Karelia (Petrozavodsk). Since the 2012/13 season, she has been a soloist at the Perm Opera and Ballet Theatre. Since 2017, she has been a guest soloist at the Bolshoi Theatre of Opera and Ballet of the Republic of Belarus; since the 2018/19 season, at the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia; and since the 2020/21 season, at the Moscow Kolobov Novaya Opera Theatre.

In 2016, she triumphed in the title role of Verdi's "La Traviata" in a production directed by Robert Wilson and conducted by Teodor Currentzis. In 2017, she was named Best Opera Singer of the season at the Golden Mask Award ceremony.

The singer's opera repertoire includes: Marfa ("The Tsar's Bride" by Rimsky-Korsakov), Zerbinetta ("Ariadne auf Naxos" by Strauss), Donna Anna ("Don Giovanni"), Vitellia ("La Clemenza di Tito"), and Fiordiligi ("Così fan tutte") in operas by Mozart; Olympia ("Les Contes d'Hoffmann" by Offenbach), Frasquita ("Carmen" by Bizet), Louise ("The Duenna" by Prokofiev), The Fairy ("Cendrillon" by Massenet), Adele ("Die Fledermaus" by J. Strauss), Marta ("The Passenger" by Weinberg), Sister Constance ("Dialogues des Carmélites" by Poulenc), The Bride ("The Wedding" by Sokolovic), Musetta ("La Bohème"), and Lauretta ("Gianni Schicchi") in operas by Puccini; Lucia ("Lucia di Lammermoor" by Donizetti), Marguerite ("Jeanne d'Arc au bûcher" by Honegger), Cunégonde ("Candide" by Bernstein), Volkhova ("Sadko" by Rimsky-Korsakov).

Her concert repertoire includes: "St. Matthew Passion" by Metropolitan Hilarion (Alfeyev), "Tenderness" by Gubarenko, works by Bach, Rameau, Mozart, Wagner, R. Strauss, vocal cycles by Mussorgsky, Shostakovich, Tishchenko, and Lokshin, as well as Lieder.

She has performed at major concert halls and theatres worldwide, such as: the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, the Kölner Philharmonie, the Konzerthaus Dortmund, the Wiener Konzerthaus, the Lucerne Culture and Congress Centre Concert Hall, the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, the Grand Théâtre de Luxembourg, and the Latvian National Opera. In the 2017/18 season, she was a guest soloist at the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Music Theatre. In December 2018, she took part in the premiere of Kirill Serebrennikov's production "Barocco" at the Gogol Center.

She is an Honored Artist of Russia. A laureate of international competitions, including the Grand Prix at the Minsk International Christmas Vocalists Competition. She is a laureate of the Russian Casta Diva Prize, the "Onegin" National Opera Award, and the "Golden Mask" Award, as well as a two-time laureate of the Republic of Karelia's highest theatre award, the "Onezhskaya Maska".
